I took my car in last fall to find/repair a leak causing a soaked driver's side floor board. they repaired a leak at the bottom of the windshield. winter came and the floor had never dried. was not sure if wet boots or cold, damp air prevented floor from drying or if leak was still present. floor appeared wetter after recent rains.. I have an '01 mitsubishi eclipse and the driverside floorboard (front & back) continues to stay soaked in water. i brought it 2 the mechanic & he thougth it was the heater core so he bypassed it untill a new one came in but even with the heater core being bypassed my floor still continued to stay soaked, i brought the car back to him and he then blowed the air conditioner drain out to make.
