Make a diy wooden paddle boat powered by an elastic rubber band. use lollipop sticks or popsicle sticks and a glue gun to make a paddle boat. great fun project to make with kids.. The girls and i started by making a template (template is available to download here, paddle boat template), using a french curve and a little creativity. my intent was to keep it simple and keep the girls involved. their boats were nothing more than scribbles; but they were boats to them.. I wanted to make a summer project. i wanted to be fun and if possible to combine playing in the sea. so i made this toy boat out a few scrap spruce pieces and an oak dowel..
And this boat is seriously adorable! in fact, i would pay good money for that.
