So i just sold an old made in japan acoustic guitar and it had a very pronounced v shaped “boat” profile neck. i really liked that neck. was there ever any production model telecaster that had a boat profile neck like a thick v?. "the boat or v profile averages .97″ at the 1st fret and 1″ at the 12th fret" this is from the nash site and this is the neck i have on my t-52. i guess the terms boat and v neck can vary depending on the maker.. I’m looking at a used guitar that i would be guying sign unseen and the seller’s description is not so precise. they just said it was a boat neck that was about .9” at the first fret and about 1” at the 12th..
